How to request permanent deletion of your CodeTutor AI account, what is deleted, and what may need to be retained.

Permanent account deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of a CodeTutor AI account and associated user data. CodeTutor AI is operated by MokaIO.

Important: Permanent account deletion cannot be undone. Before requesting deletion, export or copy anything you want to keep.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — From the app

1. Open CodeTutor AI .
2. Go to Settings .
3. Select Delete account .
4. Follow the confirmation instructions shown in the app.

The current in-app action may deactivate access first. If you want permanent erasure of the account and associated data, also use Option 2 below so we can verify and complete the permanent deletion request.

Option 2 — Request permanent deletion by email

Send an email to fortajroba@gmail.com (fortajroba@gmail.com?subject=CodeTutor%20AI%20-%20Permanent%20Account%20Deletion%20Request) with the subject:

Preferably send the request from the email address associated with your CodeTutor account. If you cannot access that email, explain this in your message. We may request reasonable information to verify account ownership before deleting data.

Never send your password, Google password, access token, API key, private key, payment-card number, or recovery code.

What will be deleted

After we verify and complete a permanent deletion request, we will delete or irreversibly de-identify personal data under our control that is no longer required, including as applicable:

• Your CodeTutor authentication/account record and profile information.
• Email address and display name stored with the CodeTutor account, except where a limited record must legally or securely be retained.
• Saved code analyses, submitted code, optional descriptions, generated explanations, corrected code, history, and related learning content stored in your CodeTutor account.
• Favorites associated with your analyses.
• Usage counters, language preferences, streak information, and other account settings that are no longer required.
• Subscription mirror/entitlement records tied to your CodeTutor account when they are no longer required for billing, fraud prevention, disputes, security, or legal compliance.

Data that may be retained

We may retain only the minimum information reasonably necessary for legitimate purposes such as:

• Billing, transaction reconciliation, tax/accounting obligations, refunds, or purchase disputes.
• Fraud prevention, abuse prevention, security investigations, and enforcement records.
• Compliance with law, legal claims, or valid government/legal requests.
• Temporary residual copies in routine backups until those backups expire or are overwritten.

Where retained data can be de-identified without defeating the retention purpose, we may de-identify it. Third parties such as Google Play and RevenueCat may retain transaction or service records under their own legal and operational retention policies.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting your CodeTutor account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription through Google Play separately to prevent future renewals.

Individual data deletion without deleting your account

Where available in the app, you can delete individual analyses from your History. Removing an analysis also removes dependent favorite references associated with that analysis in CodeTutor's active database.

For another specific data-deletion request that does not require deleting your entire account, email fortajroba@gmail.com (fortajroba@gmail.com?subject=CodeTutor%20AI%20-%20Data%20Deletion%20Request) and describe the data you want deleted. We will evaluate the request subject to account verification, technical capability, and applicable retention obligations.

Processing time and confirmation

We process verified deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible. We may contact you if additional verification is required or if a limited category of information must be retained for a legitimate legal, billing, fraud-prevention, or security reason.

Once the deletion process is completed, the deleted CodeTutor account and its erased account data cannot be restored through the app.
