Your data, your choice

This page explains how to request deletion of your AtelierNote online account and associated account data, how to erase an offline workshop stored on your own device, and what happens to subscriptions and exported backups. These are separate operations.

Important: Uninstalling AtelierNote does not automatically request deletion of an online account. Likewise, deleting an online account does not automatically erase a disconnected phone or a backup you saved elsewhere.

1. Request deletion of your online account

If you created an AtelierNote online account, you should be able to initiate a deletion request from this website without reinstalling the Android app. Use the secure account-deletion request form on this page when the service has been activated and verified. The form should ask only for the minimum information needed to locate your account and safely process the request, ordinarily:

  1. The email address associated with your AtelierNote account.
  2. A selection confirming that you are asking to delete your AtelierNote account and associated account data, not merely sign out.
  3. A deliberate confirmation that you understand the irreversible consequences.

4. Any secure identity-verification step provided by the verified service, when needed.

Never enter your account password, PIN, one-time code, backup password, or security token into a general support message. Sensitive verification should occur only through a properly implemented official authentication process.

The site must show request received only after the backend has actually accepted a request. A “request recorded,” “pending,” or “queued” status is not the same as completed deletion. You should be told if verification or another step is required. If the deletion service is unavailable, the page must clearly disclose this and must not pretend that a request has been filed; refer to https://mokaio.store/support/ateliernote for a verified alternative contact channel when one is available.

2. What account deletion covers

After the request is authenticated, authorized, and processed, account deletion is intended to remove or anonymize the AtelierNote account and personal information associated with that account in MokaIO-operated online systems, subject to lawful retention exceptions and the actual scope of connected services. Depending on the services you have used, this may include:

  • Your optional AtelierNote authentication account and related sign-in identity.
  • Your account's online shop memberships and access grants.
  • Cloud-hosted workshop records, attachments, and synchronization metadata that are in scope for your account and that the service can lawfully delete.
  • Account-related customer-status links, cloud backups, device-authority associations, and other linked online resources where applicable.
  • Certain service identifiers and support or operation records, except where retention is necessary or required by law.

For a shared workshop, deleting a personal account is not necessarily the same as deleting the entire shared business workspace. Other authorized users' rights, ownership of shared data, and legal recordkeeping duties may limit what a single account holder can request on behalf of everyone. The service must verify authority before deleting shared business data and must distinguish removal of your personal account from deletion of the entire workshop.

Where deletion is required by applicable law or Google Play policy, the service should not keep an active account or its associated personal data merely because the original records were synchronized. A temporary retention exception must have an appropriate basis and scope.

3. Information that may be retained

Some narrowly limited information may need to be kept for legitimate security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax or accounting obligations, or compliance with law. Backups and technical records may take additional time to cycle out under their verified retention rules. Retained information should not be reused to reactivate a deleted account without an independent lawful basis.

The website must not invent a fixed deletion-completion period or promise that every backup has been erased unless those operational guarantees have been independently verified. You may ask support about the status of a request accepted by the service.

4. Erase data stored locally on your Android device

AtelierNote supports a device-local workshop that may exist without an online account. You control those offline records. Where available in your version, open the app's Account & Data / local erasure controls, review what would be removed, and follow the on-screen confirmation steps. The operation may require the exact workshop name, the configured app PIN, and explicit acknowledgment of the risk.

Local erasure can permanently remove the workshop's local records. Export and independently verify any encrypted backup that you legitimately need before erasing the workspace. Removing the app or clearing Android app storage can also destroy local-only records, and is not an appropriate substitute for reviewing them first.

MokaIO cannot remotely erase local files from an offline device that is not connected to an authorized remote-management feature. A website deletion request does not automatically delete exported archives, PDFs, screenshots, copies you shared, or records already held by a third-party recipient.

5. If you no longer have access to the app or your account

You can still visit this page from a browser. Use the dedicated secure request process if operational. If authentication is unavailable, use a functioning support channel at https://mokaio.store/support/ateliernote to ask how to initiate a verified request. We may need to verify that you control the account before processing an account-specific deletion. We will not ask you to send passwords or secret recovery material in an email or general support message.

If the only remaining records were stored on a lost or inaccessible offline device and never synchronized, MokaIO may not have a copy to locate or delete. Check whether you created any independent backups with your chosen storage provider.

6. Google Play subscriptions are separate

If you purchased a subscription through Google Play, deleting your AtelierNote account, erasing local data, or uninstalling the app does not necessarily cancel that subscription. Manage or cancel the subscription separately through Google Play using the Google account that made the purchase. Refund requests and billing disputes are handled according to Google Play terms and applicable law. A subscription cannot be assumed active in app versions where billing has not launched.

7. How to know deletion is complete

A deletion process may include verification, request acceptance, processing, and confirmation. Only a verified completion status from an authorized system means that server-side deletion has been completed within the stated scope. A local request or an HTTP acknowledgment alone is not enough. Keep any reference number the verified service gives you, but do not post tokens or reference details publicly.

You may ask support about the outcome of an accepted request. If required by applicable law, you may have rights to confirmation and additional information about residual legally retained data.

8. Privacy and support
