1. Agreement and scope

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AtelierNote, an app by MokaIO for managing tailoring and workshop operations. By installing or using AtelierNote, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These Terms apply to the Android app and the AtelierNote-specific online services or pages that MokaIO actually makes available. They do not imply that every feature shown in a development build or described in a plan is active. Features such as cloud synchronization, shared staff access, Google authentication, order tracking, and paid subscriptions may be unavailable or require separate setup and eligibility.

2. Who may use AtelierNote

AtelierNote is designed for lawful workshop and business use. You must have the legal authority to operate your workshop and to enter, access, export, share, or delete information about your customers, employees, or business. If you grant staff access, you are responsible for assigning appropriate roles, training authorized users, and maintaining lawful access to business information.

AtelierNote is not designed as a children's service. Users must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms or use the app under the supervision of a legally authorized business owner.

3. What the app provides

Depending on the version and enabled capabilities, AtelierNote may provide offline workshop setup; records for customers, garments, measurements, orders and appointments; inventory and purchasing; work tasks; quotations and financial documents; payment and balance recording; local notifications; reports; secure local storage; and encrypted backup/export workflows.

AtelierNote is a recordkeeping and workflow tool, not a bank, card processor, accounting firm, tax adviser, legal adviser, payroll service, medical service, or guarantee of customer payment. Financial figures, invoices, tax fields, deadlines, and documents must be reviewed for accuracy and compliance with the rules of your jurisdiction before they are relied on or sent externally.

4. Offline use, accounts, and synchronization

You may use the core local workspace without creating an online account where supported. An optional account does not automatically connect, transfer, replace, or synchronize an existing offline workshop. Online collaboration and sync require an explicitly available, authorized service and appropriate access checks.

You are responsible for the accuracy of login credentials and for the devices and accounts under your control. Never share your password, PIN, recovery secrets, or authenticated sessions. An account session does not, by itself, prove entitlement to a different workshop or to every cloud record.

Remote availability, connectivity, role changes, or service outages may affect optional online operations. Do not interpret a queued local change as a verified cloud update unless the app has confirmed that specific outcome.

5. Your records and responsibilities

You retain your rights in the business records and other content you lawfully enter into AtelierNote. You grant MokaIO and its contracted processors only the limited permissions necessary to provide online features you explicitly use, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law. This does not transfer ownership of your records to MokaIO.

You are responsible for maintaining a lawful basis to process customer and staff information, providing required notices to those people, confirming data accuracy, honoring requests you are legally obliged to handle, and preventing unauthorized employees or third parties from accessing or exporting records. You must not enter unlawful content or information you have no right to process.

6. Backup, data loss, and restoration

Maintain your own recoverable backups. An encrypted backup should be exported to a secure destination outside app-private storage and protected by a password you retain. Uninstalling AtelierNote, resetting app data, losing your device, forgetting your backup password, or overwriting files may cause irreversible loss of local-only information.

A backup validation, import preview, or cloud upload indication should not be treated as proof that an entire restore succeeded until the restored data has been verified. You are responsible for checking exports, shared documents, recipients, and restored records. MokaIO cannot promise to reconstruct information that never left your device.

7. Purchases and subscriptions, when enabled

The free or paid capabilities available to you are those shown by the currently released app and any applicable Google Play purchase flow. If MokaIO activates paid subscriptions, pricing, currency, taxes, trial terms, renewal conditions, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellation methods are presented by Google Play or its supported subscription infrastructure before purchase. Do not assume advertised examples or unfinished developer settings constitute an offer.

Where a subscription is purchased through Google Play, billing and subscription management are handled through your Google Play account and applicable Google Play terms. Deleting an AtelierNote account or uninstalling the app does not necessarily cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel or manage an active subscription using Google's applicable subscription-management process. Refund eligibility is subject to Google Play policies and mandatory consumer law. No purchase should be represented as completed unless the relevant store transaction and entitlement state have been verified.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: gain unauthorized access to other workshops or accounts; defeat access controls or attempt to obtain hidden records; misuse status-tracking links; submit malicious files or code; transmit unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent material; interfere with service security or availability; falsely identify yourself as another user; or use the app in a manner that violates privacy, intellectual-property, consumer-protection, or other applicable laws.

Reasonable restrictions may apply to service use to protect user data, service availability, and legitimate system security.

9. Third-party services

Features you explicitly invoke may rely on Android, Google Play, Google Sign-In, Supabase, RevenueCat (when activated), the device's file picker/share interfaces, printing services, and website hosting or support providers. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. AtelierNote cannot control the availability or handling practices of a third-party application you independently choose as an export or share destination.

10. Service changes and availability

MokaIO may maintain, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for technical, security, legal, or business reasons. We will seek to provide appropriate notice where required by law. Some services may be experimental, regional, account-restricted, or offline-only. We do not promise uninterrupted connectivity or 24-hour availability of optional cloud services.

11. Intellectual property

AtelierNote, its software, original visual identity, documentation, and MokaIO branding remain the property of their respective rights holders. Your lawful use of the app is subject to these Terms. You may not falsely claim ownership of the app, redistribute proprietary assets unlawfully, or use its trademarks to misrepresent an affiliation. Your own workshop logos and business data remain yours or their respective lawful owners'.

12. Security and account actions

We may restrict an account or online feature where necessary to prevent credible abuse, unauthorized access, or security harm, subject to applicable law. An offline installation is not guaranteed to be remotely accessible or erasable by MokaIO.

You can find information on local erasure, server-side account deletion requests, and associated-data deletion at https://mokaio.store/delete-account/ateliernote. The process must distinguish a local device deletion from a server-verified account deletion. Account deletion does not substitute for independently cancelling a Google Play subscription.

13. Warranty and liability

AtelierNote is provided using reasonable care and subject to non-excludable statutory rights. Except where prohibited by law, the app and optional services are supplied without a guarantee that every operation, report, export, backup, integration, or third-party service will always be error-free or uninterrupted. You remain responsible for professional judgment and lawful business operations.

To the extent legally permitted, MokaIO is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from events outside its reasonable control, such as third-party outages, lost device-only data without a recoverable backup, user-entered mistakes, or exports sent to the wrong recipient. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

14. Applicable law and disputes

Mandatory consumer, privacy, and other applicable legal protections remain in force. If a dispute arises, contact AtelierNote support so we can seek a reasonable resolution. Any governing-law or forum requirements that cannot lawfully be displaced by contract will continue to apply. These Terms do not invent an exclusive jurisdiction that MokaIO has not formally adopted and disclosed.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect software, service, legal, or operational changes. Revisions will be posted at this URL with an updated date, and additional notice or consent will be sought where required. Continued use after an effective update has the meaning assigned by applicable law.
