FileHub

Local-first Android file workspace with editing, conversion, OCR, optional cloud features, and BYOK AI OCR.

com.mokaio.filehub

You can permanently delete your FileHub account and associated server-side personal data. Account deletion is permanent and may not be reversible.

Delete your account from the app

  1. Open FileHub .
  2. Open the Account section.
  3. Open the account/settings area and choose Delete account .
  4. Review the warning and confirm the deletion request.
  5. Complete any identity verification requested by the app.

If you cannot access the app

If you cannot sign in or cannot use the in-app deletion option, send an account-deletion request through the official FileHub support contact listed on the Google Play listing or through the MokaIO website:

https://mokaio.store

Include the email address associated with your FileHub account. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request. Do not send your password or API keys.

What is deleted

Subject to legal, security, and technical retention requirements, deletion removes or de-identifies server-side information associated with your FileHub account, which may include:

  • Your account/profile record and account identifiers.
  • Cloud-synchronization or cloud-backup records associated with the account, where applicable.
  • Server-side app preferences or metadata associated with the account.
  • Other personal data that FileHub no longer needs to retain.

What may remain on your device

Deleting your account does not automatically delete every local or exported file on your Android device. Files in FileHub's local storage may remain until you remove them, clear FileHub's app data, or uninstall the app. Files you exported or saved to Downloads, Documents, SD card, cloud-drive folders, or other user-selected locations remain under your control and must be deleted separately if you no longer want them.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting your FileHub account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. If you have a paid subscription, manage or cancel it separately through Google Play to prevent future renewal charges.

BYOK keys and third-party data

If you used your own Gemini, OpenAI, or other provider account, deleting your FileHub account does not delete data or billing records held independently by that third-party provider. You should manage those items directly with the provider.

Deletion timing

Deletion requests are normally completed without undue delay and generally within 30 days after successful verification. Limited records may be retained longer when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, financial recordkeeping, dispute resolution, or backup integrity, after which they are deleted or de-identified according to applicable requirements.
