1. Your deletion options
You may use Keevia locally without creating an account. For registered users, Keevia includes a cloud-account deletion flow. If you can no longer open Keevia, you can request assisted account deletion by email.
Important distinction: deleting your Keevia cloud account is deliberately different from deleting data stored locally on your device. The in-app account-deletion workflow is designed to preserve your separate encrypted local Keevia library while removing/detaching the former account's cloud access. To delete both, follow the additional local-data steps below.
2. Delete your Keevia account from the app
- Open Keevia and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Profile / Settings and find Delete account in the account area.
- Read the deletion notice and, if needed, export/back up important records before continuing.
- Confirm that you understand the cloud and local-data consequences.
- Select the deletion action and complete the required reauthentication (password or supported Google sign-in method).
- If you own a shared household with active members, resolve or remove active memberships first as instructed. If a repairer organization has active ownership responsibilities, transfer/close it through the available safe procedure before deletion.
7. Review the final confirmation and approve deletion. Wait for the app to confirm that the server completed the process.
Do not assume deletion succeeded if the app shows an error. If a deletion request becomes locked or fails midway, contact support; do not repeatedly remove local files, retry arbitrary SQL commands or bypass reauthentication.
3. Request deletion without using the app
If you no longer have access to the app, send an email to:
[support@mokaio.store](mailto:support@mokaio.store?subject=Keevia%20Account%20Deletion%20Request)
Use subject: Keevia Account Deletion Request. Include the email address associated with your Keevia account and state that you want the Keevia account and MokaIO-controlled associated cloud data deleted. You may also request deletion of specific data where applicable. We may ask you to verify that you control the account before acting. Never send a password, login code, recovery key or access token.
We aim to acknowledge the request promptly and complete verified requests without undue delay, generally within 30 days, unless additional verification, technical recovery or applicable law requires more time. We will inform you when additional steps are necessary.
4. What cloud-account deletion covers
When successfully completed through the supported workflow, deletion is designed to remove or de-identify the account's associated MokaIO-controlled cloud information as applicable, including:
- Keevia authentication identity and account access.
- Authorized synced product/ownership records and associated cloud objects.
- Cloud documents and relevant stored attachments that fall within the account-deletion scope.
- Device/sync relationships, current access grants and private share/public-passport authorizations as applicable.
- Associated household/repairer relationships after any required membership, business or ownership preflight has been resolved.
Certain minimum security, financial, transaction, audit or legal records may be retained when required or permitted by law and handled under the Privacy Policy. Copies downloaded or retained by other people, third-party services or a platform store are outside Keevia's unilateral deletion control.
5. Local data remains separate
After successfully deleting the cloud account, Keevia does not automatically wipe its encrypted local library from the device. This allows you to retain local ownership records rather than destroying them without a separate decision. Local products, receipts, images, PDFs and encrypted data files may still exist on the device.
If you also want to erase locally stored Keevia data:
- Export any content you wish to keep and verify your backup first.
- Use a supported in-app local data deletion/clear action if present in your installed version; do not assume that every version exposes such a control.
- On Android, you can remove the application's locally stored files using Settings → Apps → Keevia → Storage → Clear storage / Clear data (menu wording varies). This typically removes app data on that device and is not reversible without a suitable backup.
- On Windows, follow the app's supported data removal/uninstallation guidance if a Windows build is installed. Do not manually delete unknown encrypted or shared files without understanding the consequences.
5. Check any manually created backups, exported files, screenshots or cloud drives you control; these copies are not automatically removed by a Keevia account-deletion request.
Uninstalling or clearing app data does not itself close your Supabase/Keevia cloud account. For complete removal, perform both steps where appropriate.
6. Paid subscription cancellation is separate
If you have a Google Play or other store subscription, delete/cancel the subscription through that store separately. Deleting your Keevia account or uninstalling Keevia does not automatically stop recurring store charges. Availability of paid plans depends on the released version; this paragraph does not claim billing is currently live.
7. If your device is lost or access is blocked
Request account deletion by email as explained above. MokaIO will verify account ownership where feasible. We cannot decrypt a protected local device library or restore user-controlled encryption keys on demand. Contact the manufacturer/platform provider regarding files stored in unrelated device backups.
